Art Cube 2R2 Gallery Hosts Solo Exhibition by Park Bang-young

Art Cube 2R2 Gallery will hold the solo exhibition 'I See Me: To See Myself' by artist Park Bang-young from the 27th until April 10th.
This exhibition spotlights the works of Park Bang-young, who has built a unique artistic world by freely traversing the techniques of Oriental and Western painting.
Park Bang-young explores the aesthetic value of nature, expressing it through unique lines and color palettes. By incorporating calligraphic elements, Surrealism's automatism, and Abstract Expressionism's action painting techniques, he visualizes the vitality of invisible energy.
In this exhibition, representative works, along with pieces containing inner peace and the meaning of life found in nature, will be unveiled.
Visitors can also see 'Going to the Flower Field on a Horse,' a work reborn through the lyrical language of poet Na Tae-joo. Inspired by Park Bang-young's work, Na Tae-joo created a poem using it as a motif, which was also included in his latest poetry collection, 'Today I Go Home.' This collaborative work, born from the meeting of painting and literature, is expected to offer visitors a new experience.
Furthermore, Park Bang-young is collaborating with ARTTOKEN's NFT Studio to present digital works. This exhibition will introduce about 50 pieces, including the original painting of No. 200. The works will be displayed on the media art wall of 'Grand Seoul,' a landmark in Gwanghwamun, and can be seen on a massive digital screen starting late February.
Hong Ji-sook, CEO of Art Cube 2R2, explained, "We planned this exhibition so that visitors can fully feel and resonate with the vibrant energy of spring during the season of welcoming spring, through Park Bang-young's artistic world, which delicately expresses the interaction between nature and humanity." She added, "We will also showcase the interpretative power and structural beauty when Oriental painting is realized digitally, and offer an opportunity for viewers to project themselves onto the nature within the artwork."
