Jinhyu Lee, the artist leading the trend in K-Art, gets a "Call Again" at the 2024 LA Art Show

Jinhyu Lee, who gained significant popularity as a special artist invited to the "2023 LA Art Show," is generating buzz again after being invited to the "2024 LA Art Show." Recently, he exhibited digital media works with Samsung Electronics at the "International Consumer Electronics Show (CES)" held in Las Vegas (January 9-12, 2024), and also exhibited digital media art at the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (October 1-December 31, 2023).

Jinhyu Lee, whose work is gaining global attention as a focal point of K-Art, will participate in the "2024 LA Art Show" with works themed, 'Wherever I Go... We Are Foreigners.'

Jinhyu Lee is an artist who paints unfamiliar landscapes buried within the disappearance of time. To him, the canvas is a crossroads of diverse cultures, a space where the present and future, buried in the past, overlap like a film. He conveys the importance of communication required in a rapidly changing media environment.

Just as one risks obsolescence if they fail to read the changes in the world, modern art cannot be detached from the times, making communication extremely important. He is focusing on conceptual language derived from new paradigms such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), NFT, and STO, in line with the currents of the era.

This exhibition throws the question of how the next generation should live by utilizing the image of 'Gate and Window.' This stems from the belief that the artist's mission is to observe the world like a god and pinpoint current phenomena. Jinhyu Lee revealed that he captured the space of life within the square shape of 'Gate and Window,' just as an artist concentrates on their work on the square canvas.

In one part of the exhibition, works by world-famous graffiti artists like Banksy were collaborated upon. Jinhyu Lee emphasizes the importance of concepts regarding objects and media in modern art, repeating continuous research and practice. The artist emphasizes, "Almost all creation in the world has been done, and the key to modern art is how wonderfully it is edited." Jinhyu Lee collaborated with ARTTOKEN on various digital media works converted into NFT codes for this exhibition. Recently, Jinhyu Lee participated in Palm Beach Art (January 24-28, 2024, Palm Beach Convention Center), organized by the LA Art Show. Due to the successful result of this Palm Beach Art, he is scheduled to be invited as a special artist for the 2025 Palm Beach Art. This is the result of the interest from Brenda, Asia Director of the LA Art Show, and the active facilitation by Seo Eun-jin, CEO of J&J Art. We hope that through the successful outcome of participating in the LA Art Show with ARTTOKEN, which leads the way in digital art and NFT in Korea, the status of K-Art will establish itself in the global art market.
