Lee In's solo exhibition was meticulously planned to adhere to the artist's unique artistic language, which questions the essence of humanity and prompts viewers to find their own answers through the works. Kim Jeong-won, Art Content Director at ARTTOKEN, stated that the exhibition allows viewers to confirm Lee In's unique worldview and horizon, encompassing both Eastern and Western perceptions, by incorporating texts such as excerpts from Yi Sang's poetry, literary phrases, and historical records onto the canvas. He added that this is the only opportunity to view the unreleased NFT ART, 'Dongbaek (camellia),' at Space 2R2 before its official public release.
Hong Ji-sook, CEO of ARTTOKEN, stated, 'NFT is not only a means of popularizing art but also the optimal technology for art archiving.' She added, 'We anticipate the development of art, especially in the visual arts sector, through the fusion of blockchain technology, represented by NFT (Non Fungible Token), and art. We believe that the expansion phase of blockchain technology's mass adoption is essential for the advancement of visual arts through this fusion, which is why we are conducting various events, including NFTs, offline through the simultaneous exhibition of Physital art and physical works.'
The Physital exhibition, held for Lee In's solo exhibition, can be experienced by visiting Space 2R2. Furthermore, detailed exhibition information can be found on the Exhibition page, a special feature for artists on 'WEB3 ART&NFT PLATFORM 2R2,' which is serviced by ARTTOKEN.
