NFT 2023 Seoul Conference

ARTTOKEN successfully held the 'NFT 2023 Seoul' conference, which presented strategic directions for changes in the digital ecosystem, at COEX Conference Room E Hall, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 1st.

Attendees included National Assembly members Yoon Young-seok and Kim Byeong-wook, Choi Jin-young (Korea Herald CEO), Lee Seong-chul (Korea Ilbo CEO), and Lee Sang-yong (Seoul Metropolitan Government Deputy Director for Digital).

At the opening ceremony, ARTTOKEN CEO Hong Ji-sook stated, "We sought to find solutions applicable to blockchain, technology, and art, centered on NFT, which is key to the adaptation and evolution required by digital innovation across art and finance."

CEO Hong also said, "I hope that through this conference, participants who are creating an amazing era at the center of change will exchange and engage, preparing for a new era."

This conference gathered experts in domestic and international blockchain, Web3, STO, and arts intellectual property (IP) to cover Web3 trends, Web3 business innovation cases, global STO status, and the legal outlook for virtual assets in Korea.

Keynote speeches are scheduled to cover △The Direction and New Possibilities of NFT in the Web3 Era △The Utilization and Role of NFT Art in Future Art △Current Status of the Domestic STO Market and Industry-Specific STO Utilization Strategies.

Patrick Yoon, President of Crypto.com Korea, delivered the keynote speech on 'The Direction and New Possibilities of NFT in the Web3 Era.'

Presentations followed on topics such as △'Luxury IP' (Choo Seon-woo, iStaging Asia CEO) △Metaverse (Park Min-woo, Galaxy Corporation Director) △NFT and Web3.0 (Shin Young-seon, Hello Web3 CEO) △Web3 Business via Super Apps (Kim Min-seok, Tmax Metaverse CEO).

In 'The Utilization and Role of NFT Art in Future Art,' former CJ OliveNetworks CEO Cha In-hyeok delivered a keynote speech on 'The Evolution of Art: Generative AI, NFT, and Digital Technology.'

Presentations continued, covering the utilization and role of NFT art, including △Art, Technology, and Community (Mariko Nishimura, Co-founder of HEART CATCH) △Co-creation and Decentralized Curation (Aleksandra Joyn.xyz Partnership Lead) △Coding Art and Blockchain as a New Medium for Art (Nori, Founder of NORIFORCE) △Phygital-NFT Technology Integration (Calvin Chan, CEO of Legitimate) △Web3 Art Platform - 2r2.io (Jung Chang-hee, ARTTOKEN CTO).

In 'Current Status of the Domestic STO Market and Industry-Specific STO Utilization Strategies,' recent domestic and international STO trends were examined, including △Tokenized Securities (Lee Yong-jae, Senior at Mirae Asset Securities) △Case Studies of STO in Japan and the US (Jang Hee-soo, Soongsil University Professor) △Legal Systematization for Virtual Assets (Lee Dong-guk, Partner Lawyer at Dongin Law Firm) △Overseas STO Cases (Kim Myung-sik, JLL Managing Director).

Meanwhile, the conference was jointly hosted by ARTTOKEN, Korea Herald, and Soongsil University, with Crypto.com, Blockchain Today, and Bloomingbit participating as major partners.
