Scope Miami 2022, featuring NFT art platform ARTTOKEN (CEO Hong Jisook) and Sanji Gallery (CEO Choi Jiyin), has opened.

The 'ARTTOKEN X Sanji Gallery' exhibition presents works by eight artists who explore new sculptural forms. Some works are also displayed as digital NFTs, presenting the sculptural possibilities of converting existing works into NFTs within the art market.

The eight selected artists are exhibiting approximately 30 physical works and NFT works, focusing on new pieces. The participating artists demonstrate a strong experimental nature, constantly building their own unique artistic elements through active domestic and international activities, thereby securing recognition in the art world and art market. Their new and creative energy transcends the boundaries of tradition and modernity, East and West, and fine art and popular art, establishing a unique artistic worldview. Therefore, they are expected to stand out not only in Korea but also in the global market.

At this exhibition, which opened on the 29th of last month (November), artists such as Taejin Seong, Soonkyung Oh, Wongeun Kim, and Seonmi Moon are sharing sales news. In particular, there are many international visitors from Miami, France, South America, and Asia, leading to continuous inquiries about works that showcase experimental Korean aesthetics.

Scope Miami features over 150 global galleries and is expected to attract 60,000 visitors to the fair. Given its location on Miami Beach, it is characterized by a free atmosphere where one can enjoy both the ocean and the art fair, featuring many cheerful and enjoyable works.

ARTTOKEN partners with Samsung Electronics to introduce the world of contemporary Korean artists.

NFT art platform ARTTOKEN previously showcased an Art NFT TV smart app containing Korean aesthetics with Samsung Electronics at 'IFA 2022,' the largest appliance exhibition in Europe, held in Berlin, Germany, last September. Through participation in Scope Miami, it is expected that the role of introducing the works of contemporary Korean artists to the world, together with the Art NFT TV smart app with Samsung Electronics, will further accelerate.

Sanji Gallery gained significant popularity by showcasing Korean artists to local collectors at the Seattle Art Fair in July, increasing its visibility for this fair. The participation of Sanji Gallery and ARTTOKEN in this fair introduces contemporary Korean art, which is gradually rising in global interest alongside K-culture, to Scope Miami, playing a role in promoting the strength of K-Art worldwide.

In the actual Miami scene, the intense interest in Korea is also leading to interest in the artworks. The new sculptural attempts of NFT platform ARTTOKEN in converting contemporary art into NFTs, and its leap into a global platform, continue through this Scope Miami. The 'Scope Miami Beach 2022' exhibition runs from Wednesday, November 30, 2022, until Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 8:00 PM (local time).

Meanwhile, ARTTOKEN X Sanji Gallery sales mainly focused on small items from artists △Taejin Seong, △Soonkyung Oh, △Wongeun Kim, and △Seonmi Moon. In particular, there are many international visitors from Miami, France, South America, and Asia, leading to inquiries about works that showcase experimental Korean aesthetics.

The intense colors in △Taejin Seong's work, carved onto wood, are a notable color palette and one of the most popular photo zones. △Jihui Kim created new works related to Miami Beach, focusing on themes of water.

European visitors show great interest in the works of Moon Seonmi and Soonkyung Oh, and the boxer image by Wongeun Kim is popular among middle-aged men for its humor, indicating the high energy of the art fair.
