ARTTOKEN launches NFT art platform... 400 edition NFTs released

A new concept digital art platform, integrated with an online art market and NFT platform, opened on the 24th.

According to ARTTOKEN Co., Ltd., the platform, which issues and distributes NFT artworks by K-artists with high future growth potential, was launched. As the inaugural offering to celebrate the opening, they showcased 3 pieces, 400 editions, of traditional Korean ink wash paintings by artist Ryu Jae-choon, including 'Waterfall 1, 2' and 'Simsan Yugok'.

Ryu's NFT works will be available for purchase on the ARTTOKEN platform for 24 hours, starting at 12 PM today until 12 PM on the 25th. For the opening event, 100 special commemorative coin NFTs featuring Ryu's work will be issued as an airdrop and provided to buyers on a first-come, first-served basis.

Artist Ryu Jae-choon, who garnered significant attention when 200 ink wash landscape 'Wolha 2021' NFTs sold out in just 10 seconds last December, has been creating works while moving between Korea and China. He has captured the attention of collectors with his distinctive style, 'Ryu Jae-choonhwa'.

Meanwhile, ARTTOKEN, established in April 2021, is a specialized art-tech company that merges the values of technology and art. It functions as an artist group that plans global online and offline exhibitions and curates NFTs and digital art rooted in K-ART. ARTTOKEN plans to sequentially showcase works by prominent Korean artists, starting with Ryu, including Animkun, Laylay, Sung Tae-jin, Kim Tae-hyeop, and Sung Byung-hee.
